We are looking for a Sr. Supply Chain Manager to join us on our journey to make it drastically easier for customers to find, choose, afford, and engage with the services, products, and professionals they need to get and stay healthy! Amazon Pharmacy’s Supply Chain Manager will deliver the best operating, lowest cost infrastructure. In this role, you will plan, coordinate and manage operations forecasting and capacity planning.

Key job responsibilities
• Directly own Pharmacy Ops forecasting; act as the primary role to escalate supply/capacity constraints and involve cross functional teams to secure long term solution.
• Work with the assigned functional leaders to track and coordinate all program deliverables, highlighting key program risks and putting plans in place to mitigate those risks, providing regular reports/updates on program status. This includes identification and mitigation of long-term supply chain risks presented by new designs.
• Be able to foresee the risks and come up with solid and manageable buy ahead plan.
• Develop a risk buy plan to ensure on-time delivery and eliminate the excess and obsolete impact.
• Perform regular supply and demand analysis for critical materials with 2nd tiers.
• Active engagement in process improvements to continually increase efficiency and effectiveness of product development and supply chain processes.
• Partnering with internal and external stakeholders to lead mid- to long-term inventory management and operational improvement strategies across the Supply Chain
• Developing and/or improving inventory management strategies for our network to ensure the right placement of ASINs and the success of new launches
• Ongoing analytics and analysis to insure accurate lead time, safety stock, review cycle, order methods, min/max points, and usage.
• Create reports and analyze new platform arrivals, identify and address gaps in coverage.
• Execute rebalancing through transfers between locations and purchasing.
• Lead capacity planning and modeling for Pharmacy Operations.
• Lead a team of direct reports. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of team.
• Build and influence future roadmap (strategy, tooling, etc)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 3+ years of supply chain experience
– Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
– Completed bachelors degree in Business, Economics, Logistics, Mathematics or similar field
– Excellent analytical skills
– Prior experience with negotiations and logistics procurement

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– Supply chain management certifications such as CSCMP
– Experience in inventory management
– Experience with Lean operational practices

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $103,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
