DESCRIPTION
Ring is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to join our Hardware development team. We are an established team but creating a new Hardware focused Pre Alpha trial that will complement our already mature Alpha and Beta user experience trials. The Senior Technical Program Manager will work closely with many teams to plan and coordinate the execution of Hardware Pre Alpha Trials. You must be capable of sorting through priorities, diving deep into details, defining processes that improve execution, championing engineering best practices, executing with agility, and succeeding in a complex environment.
Key job responsibilities
– Managing multiple (cross-functional or technical and non-technical) stakeholder groups each week
– Build weekly detailed reports around feedback, survey results, and metrics captured during testing
– Ability to take action and ownership of situations with minimal guidance
– Monitor backend metrics for programs assigned
– Correlate backend metrics with tester feedback to identify trends
– Manage multiple project/programs simultaneously
– Create test plans for Pre-Alpha
– Coordinate with the Insight Team for Beta, and Delta Programs
– Create test cases with the Product Managers, Component Teams, Hardware Development and Reliability teams for the users to go through during the testing phase
– Attend weekly business reviews to review programs assigned with leadership
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
– 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
– Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
– 5+ years of analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentations experience
– 3+ years of direct work running hardware user trials
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
– Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
– Experience defining KPI’s/SLA’s used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
