Amazon Advertising is one of Amazon’s fastest growing businesses, responsible for defining and delivering a collection of advertising products that drive discovery and sales. We own campaign management services and systems that enables advertisers, integrators and partners to perform key functions across the entire advertising lifecycle including building and running their campaigns for all ad products including Sponsored Ads and ADSP. Our systems include 1/ Campaign management services which supports CRUD API operations and validations for core campaign management objects, 2/ Asynchronous workflows that can operate on a hierarchy of campaign objects, 3/Advertising Eligibility determination, campaign status 4/ Decoration Service that provides retail metadata for advertising on ASIN and offers on advertised products and 5/ Unified Publishing System which is responsible for publishing SA, ADSP and Decoration data to downstream systems including ad serving on a high scale and low latency manner.
We are looking for a Principal TPM to join this org to lead few strategic projects including regionalization of Ads and driving regional flexibility in our architecture and infrastructure. To improve regional advertising experience across merchants/businesses, we are building a new regional solution to improve accuracy of regional Featured Offers surfaced to customers. This is important as we want to surface ads only at locations where shoppers can purchase the product. Similarly, we are working to make Ad serving delivery speed aware. We are looking for entrepreneurial and innovative TPM who thrives on solving tough problems and works across complex systems to help build simple solution.

Key job responsibilities
• Responsible for the end-to-end project management functions of large programs including planning, risk and issue management, trade-offs and execution.
• Effectively collaborate with customers, technical staff and leaders, business leaders and executives to define and deliver complex features.
• Thrive in ambiguity, define and plan programs in a fast paced and highly-technical organization, and secure buy in from internal and external stakeholders.
• Create, maintain and disseminate project information to stakeholders. Anticipate bottlenecks and balance business needs versus technical constraints to move these projects forward quickly.
• Ascertain the true requirements underlying feature requests; recommend alternative technical approaches and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines
• In partnership with product management, lead yearly planning for engineering and business investments
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
– 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
– 5+ years of software development experience
– Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
– Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
– Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– 8+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $159,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
