We’re on a journey to build something new! Our team is building new discovery and shopping products that connect customers with their new vehicle of choice. We’re developing new customer experiences and seller tools to support the entire vehicle discovery and shopping journey in Amazon’s online store.

Key job responsibilities
Managers of Account Managers are responsible for driving business growth and delivering a positive experience with our program. The key responsibilities are to:

– Coach, mentor, and develop a team of Strategic Account Managers

– Contribute to goal setting for your team to align with organizational goals and contribute to business strategy development and identify the correct input metrics that drive growth and improve the end customer experience.

– Build and cultivate strong relationships with Sellers in your team’s portfolio along with internal stakeholders; be a trusted advisor and a business advocate while monitoring Seller satisfaction.

– Identify, optimize, and scale improvements that can benefit a large set of customers, e.g. driving efficiencies through tools and processes, simplifying SOPs, partnering with external teams to align programs etc.

– Active participation in hiring and developing the best

About the team
We are a newly formed team rapidly growing team with a vision to create innovative discovery and shopping experiences on Amazon, providing customers better convenience and more selection. We’re collaborating with other experienced teams at Amazon to define the future of how customers research and shop for products in the complex automotive space. This role is part of the Amazon Ads org and is focused on vehicle sales.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent practical experience.
– 5+ years’ experience in account, program or product management in related industries like retail, automotive, or technology.
– 5+ years professional experience developing and leading teams while driving organizational goals.
– Experience building customer relationships, identifying business opportunities for clients and increasing adoption and utilization of company products.
– Experience using data analysis, reporting, and forecasting to guide business decisions and solve problems.
– Track record of developing business plans with a demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguous situations while effectively managing multiple projects and priorities across teams.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– Superior communication and presentation skills
– Experience using analytical, account management, and productivity tools including Oracle Business Intelligence, CRM tools like SalesForce, Tableau, and Microsoft Office Suites.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $126,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $208,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
