Key job responsibilities
As a Software Development Engineer in the PXF Docs team, you will focus on the Employee Document Management (EDM) product that provides self-service capabilities to our candidates and employees solving for document generation, digital signing and compliance support through “one-click” capabilities. You will invent and develop modern, experiences and services using AWS technologies.

Are you passionate about developing architectures that scale and perform at high availability using AWS technologies? Do you have the customer obsession to build a highly available experience for hundreds of thousands of Amazon employees? You will contribute to all aspects of the software development lifecycle including design, development, testing, documentation and operations.
About the team
You will be joining the PXF Docs team within PXF Org. Our team is working on building Employee Document Management (EDM) to create a unified experience for managing the lifecycle of employee documents. With EDM, employees will be able to view, acknowledge, upload, generate and digitally sign documents on any device.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
– 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
– Experience programming with at least one software programming language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
– Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
