Amazon’s Employer Brand team is seeking a strategic Marketing Analyst to drive meaningful and scalable metrics and analytical reporting that impact global recruitment efforts across AWS, Amazon Ads, Devices and Entertainment.

Key job responsibilities
You’re someone who can identify paid media shortcomings to develop successful campaign strategies. You’re comfortable directing targeted digital programs and obsessing over analytics to help us grow the candidate pipeline for one of the world’s largest employers.

• Build reports and analyses utilizing QuickSight and advanced SQL skills.
• Communicate data clearly and effectively, both written and verbal.
• Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc.
• Write Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) jobs to calculate business metrics
• Partner with operations/business teams to develop and automate reporting solutions and process improvements.
• Monitor and troubleshoot operational or data issues in the data pipelines.
• Participate in strategic and tactical planning discussions and present business reviews to senior management regarding progress and roadblocks.

A day in the life
Work closely with Employer Brand and Recruiting teams globally, using your strong analytical skills to support multiple teams with regular production of meaningful and scalable metrics and analytics. Utilize ETL, automation, and data visualization to provide actionable insights that align with strategic goals. Develop and maintain recruiting and workforce metrics & scorecards, conduct statistical analyses, and establish efficient processes for large-scale data analyses. Provide ad-hoc data analysis to support decision-making.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
– 3+ years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or similar roles.
– Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Quicksight and Excel) data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables.
– Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
– Experience writing complex SQL queries
– Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– Experience in multi-territory campaign management
– Experience in digital marketing and content production timelines and process
– Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
– Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
– Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams
– Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $151,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
