We are seeking a seasoned Product Marketer to drive the messaging strategy for Amazon Ad Tech and Tools. You will have the opportunity to shape and develop the positioning, while also construct thought leadership content on how Amazon Ads is bringing new capabilities to marketers and agencies. You will work closely with our core customer segments to develop messaging and marketing plans that drive a shift in perception and, ultimately, adoption of our tech solutions. You will have the opportunity to think big, and the role requires that you are not only comfortable with ambiguity; but, that you relish in it.

An Ad Tech Product Marketer is responsible for crafting compelling narratives for our unique products and themed solutions. You will be the driving force behind the successful launch, positioning, and growth of our products in the highly competitive advertising technology market. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic product marketing initiatives that showcase the value of our offerings to customers and drive adoption. We are general managers of the ad tech portfolio to ensure the industry has a clear understanding of what our ad tech offering is, and how it shows up throughout the customer experience.

Key job responsibilities
• Build the messaging framework which outlines the messaging priorities and communication goals for a product or theme, outlining terms, phrases, or statements to help deliver consistent messages across content
• Liaise with sales, product, and cross functional marketing teams in developing customer facing materials such as pitch decks, one sheets, case studies, and D2A content inclusive of articles and event collateral
• Conduit between product and sales by providing product with market feedback and sales with insights into existing and upcoming features
• Collaborate with Educational Marketing to develop and update training materials for sales
• Bring fresh sales and marketing strategies to the team
• Build all logistics and collateral for ad tech industry events and D2A trade marketing initiatives
• Outline and manage product marketing deployment timelines
• Educate other departments on current product messaging

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 9+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
– Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
– Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
– Experience communicating results to senior leadership
– Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
– Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
– Product Marketing experience; proficient in Ad Technology inclusive of Demand Side Platforms, Clean Rooms, Data Management Systems, Supply Sources, Bidding/Performance Optimizations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– Experience with creating GTM initiatives at scale
– Experience working cross-functionally across marketing, product management, analytics, UX, and research
– • Ability to work on multiple, simultaneous programs that require both strategic thinking as well as high-speed tactical execution

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $153,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $252,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
