DESCRIPTION

Do you want to join an innovative team of product managers who create state-of-the-art solutions that provide value to Amazon, suppliers, and customers? Do you have a desire to understand and evolve technical architectures? Do you like to own end-to-end business problems and success measurements, and directly impact the profitability of the company? Do you like to innovate and simplify? If yes, then you may be a great fit to join Defect Prevention and Reconciliation (DP&R) organization.

The Defect Prevention and Reconciliation (DP&R) organization aims to build innovative technology products that identify, resolve, and prevent defects from entering Amazon’s fulfillment supply chain. We eliminate operational waste and reduce cost, accelerating our fulfillment processes and improving customer experience. We are building a future where we capture, analyze, and explain every inventory defect across all stages of the supply chain (i.e. inbound, distribution, storage, fulfillment, returns). If you have an entrepreneurial spirit, know how to deliver, love to work with data, are deeply technical, highly innovative and long for the opportunity to build solutions to challenging problems that directly impact the company’s bottom-line, we want to talk to you.

The DP&R Supplier Defect Coaching (SDC) team is looking for a Principal Product Manager – Tech to own planning, execution, and delivery of defect coaching products. You will deeply understand the end-to-end supply chain and customer engagement techniques, which will be the foundation to accelerating supplier controllable defect elimination. You will partner with your customers to build an extensible system that enables self-serve engagement with suppliers. You will influence stakeholders including Technical Program Managers (TPMs), Software Development Managers (SDMs), Applied Scientists, Legal, Public Relations, Finance, and other Product Managers to uncover business opportunities, bring solutions to market, and enhance existing products. This role will be challenging as it requires changing supplier defective behavior. You will need excellent judgement in this complex and ambiguous space, as well as creative thinking coupled with technical acumen.
