The Central Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) Decision Science and Technology (DST) teams is looking for a motivated Spare Parts Engineer.
The successful candidate:
– Will be in charge of defining new spare parts management standards as well as improving existing policies;
– Will ensure the implementation of new standards in the entire network by supporting other RME teams;
– Will deep dive into data and supervise spare parts information in the CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System) to identify improvement opportunities;
– Will collaborate with other engineers and scientists from the team in order to ensure smooth and successful implementation of our ML and optimisation models.
Key job responsibilities
– Lead spare parts projects and initiatives.
– Provide feedback on current policies and identify improvement opportunities.
– Ensure spare parts policies are applied and followed by the global RME network.
– Work with procurement and the wider Operations network to find savings opportunities.
– Support RME local teams on spare parts management activities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, operations, business administration, or a related field from an accredited university or significant equivalent experience managing stores or spare parts inventories.
– Proficient user of CMMS software.
– Experience in using the core functions of MS Excel
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience with the Infor APM platform.
– Experience with SQL and visualization tools.
– Experience building KPIs.
– Experience delivering training or coaching others.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $52,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $112,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
