Title: Manager, Analytics

Duties: Process and execute data set analyses that translate data into actionable insights. Communicate data to cross functional teams and diverse audiences, from managers to product leaders. Maintain hands-on knowledge of business intelligence tools and underlying data repositories used by company. Build customized business dashboards that quantify performance across multiple dimensions. Build basic data science models, such as regression models. Develop custom metrics to help measure business issues and performance. Work cross functionally with key business partners, including product, engineering, data science, finance, program management, and other teams. Develop basic understanding of customers and emerging trends in the digital media/eCommerce landscape. Position reports into Cambridge, MA office; however, telecommuting from a home office may be allowed.

Requirements: Requires a Master’s in Analytics, Computer Science, Operations Research, or related field plus two (2) years of experience as an Analytics Manager, or related occupation. Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor’s in the above fields and five (5) years of experience.

Experience may be gained concurrently and must include one year (1) in each of the following:
– Executing intermediate to advanced business analysis using multi-layered SQL queries
– Building intermediate to complex business models
– Distilling large datasets and translating data into actionable insights for a digital media or eCommerce company
– Using data science packages including Python
– Using data visualization software including Tableau
– Working with Big Data in a cloud computing environment
– Working in an Agile environment.
