Amazon’s PATOE (People, Analytics, and Technology and Operational Excellence) organization is seeking an experienced, strategic leader to drive the vision and execution of our Reporting and Analytics (R&A) function. In this pivotal role, you will have the opportunity to build and scale a world-class analytics ecosystem that delivers critical insights to enable data-driven decision making across GOPXT (Global Operations People Experience and Technology).

As the Senior Manager of Reporting and Analytics, you will own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of reporting, analytics, and business intelligence solutions for PATOE’s key stakeholders, including all of North America Ops PXT as well as six Global Ops centers of excellence. Leveraging your team of data analysts and partnerships with business intelligence and data engineering experts, you will ensure PATOE customers have access to the data, insights, and tools they need to drive maximum business impact.

Key job responsibilities
– Define the strategic vision, roadmap, and priorities for the PATOE Reporting and Analytics function in alignment with overall PATOE objectives
– Build and lead a high-performing team of reporting and analytics experts, providing coaching, mentorship, and career development opportunities
– Partner closely with PATOE product, data engineering, and advanced research teams to develop an integrated, scalable analytics ecosystem
– Evangelize the value of data-driven insights and drive a culture of analytical rigor across the organization
– Deliver impactful reporting and analytics solutions that enable self-service and data-driven decision making
– Establish robust governance, security, and process controls to ensure data integrity and ethical data practices
– Track and report on key performance metrics to demonstrate the business impact of reporting and analytics initiatives
– Stay abreast of the latest analytics trends, tools, and techniques, and champion the incorporation of innovative capabilities

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 10+ years of experience in a senior reporting, analytics, or business intelligence leadership role
– Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics)
– Strong Human Resource acumen and ability to translate people-centric data insights into actionable recommendations that drive strategic and operational impact
– Experience building and scaling high-performing analytics teams, including recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent
– Proven track record of collaborating cross-functionally to deliver integrated data and analytics solutions
– Expertise in modern analytics tools and technologies (e.g., QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– Master’s degree preferred
– Knowledge of data science and machine learning techniques and their application to business problems
– Familiarity with cloud-based data and Gen AI analytics platforms (e.g., Amazon Redshift, Claude/Bedrock)
– Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to evangelize the value of data and analytics

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $160,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $265,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
