DESCRIPTION
The Operations Technology Solutions (OTS) organization is looking for a Program Manager II to support the OTS – Supply Chain Global Security and Resilience team, specifically within the Supply Chain Security Program. The role involves managing critical physical and cyber supply chain security programs for the organization. A successful candidate will ensure that all aspects of these security programs are executed effectively and efficiently, with a focus on both immediate incident response and long-term strategic improvements.
The candidate will think holistically about the processes required to protect the integrity of the supply chain and provide recommendations for enhancing security measures. The leader will drive continuous improvement through the identification of vulnerabilities, development of recovery strategies, and the use of advanced analytics to monitor and mitigate risks. This person will play a key role in shaping the vision, roadmaps, and strategic plans that will enhance the organization’s resilience against supply chain threats.
The ideal candidate will take a proactive and data-driven approach when managing security challenges, possess a deep understanding of supply chain operations, and be well-versed in cybersecurity practices. You must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling ambiguity and competing priorities with ease. Strong analytical abilities, excellent judgment, and the capacity to influence stakeholders across various levels of the organization are essential to success in this role. Exceptional communication skills and leadership experience in security program management are also critical for effectively driving the organization’s security and resilience goals.
Key job responsibilities
• Produces executive and tactical reporting for Senior Leadership, and maintains confidentiality of privileged information
• Make existing processes scalable by identifying and implementing available tools/automation
• Utilize exceptional problem-solving and communication skills to influence business, operations and technical audiences
• Manage and drive decision making across cross functional teams and senior leadership
• Scope and plan projects (set goals and objectives, build project plans, determine resources and budgets, identify risks and contingency planning, develop a change management plan and set important metrics) from project initiation all the way through to delivery
• Conduct risk assessments to ensure the organization has clear contractual agreements outlining security responsibilities and expectations with suppliers and logistics partners
• Oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of Dark Web monitoring programs to track and respond to supplier ransomware activities. Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure timely detection and containment of threats.
• Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the security awareness and capabilities of all employees involved in supply chain operations. Foster a culture of vigilance and proactive risk management.
• Ensure compliance with global security standards, including ISO 28000 and other relevant regulations. Establish and maintain clear roles, responsibilities, and decision-making processes to govern supply chain security.
• Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive monitoring systems to detect and recover damaged or tampered materials within the supply chain. Establish protocols for immediate response and long-term mitigation of risks associated with material compromise.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 3+ years of program or project management experience
– 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
– Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
– Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
– Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
– 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
– Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
– Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
