What to Expect
The Quantity Surveyor Lead’s role is supervising, monitoring, and coordinating the team of Quantity Surveyors, so must have good leadership skills and strong communication skills in leading a team. Person will be experienced in all construction commodities, and understand all the reporting, and tracking construction progress based on the scope of work, drawings, details, and specifications. This reporting will be specific to the commodity being observed, and the proper unit of measurement based on the contractual agreement with the contractor. The person will adequately have the experience to understand and evaluate all aspects of construction progress and communicate in the form of reports. This person must have experience in dealing with contractors and reviewing contractor invoices. Understanding contractor construction agreements and the requirements.
