What to ExpectTesla’s in-house Lithium Refinery is located in the greater Corpus Christi
area of Texas. This investment is critical to our mission to accelerate the world’s
transition to sustainable energy and represents our efforts to aggressively
increase the supply of battery-grade lithium hydroxide available in North
America.We are seeking a Supply Chain Planner to help
further our mission. The Supply Chain Planner leads the site in the execution of site
material flow, Supply and Demand planning 3PL leadership, inventory
optimization, and utility support to the site. The role requires strong
planning and analytical skills to effectively coordinate logistics activities,
monitor inventory levels, and collaborate with internal and external
stakeholders.  This opportunity will play
a pivotal role in shaping the future of supply chain operations at the Tesla
Lithium Refinery.What You’ll DoCreate and
implement logistics plans and models that will maximize the availability of
finished goods, the flow of raw materials into the site, and WIP trackingAnalyze models
and estimates to effectively schedule transportation, storage, and logistics
requirements to establish 3PL requirementsCoordinate
supply chain activities with production schedules and company objectives by
collaborating with business leadership, production staff, and suppliersDevelop a
supply and materials flow value stream model to assess the availability of raw
materials, WIP and finished goods. Coordinate demand forecast with supply plan,
optimize costs, mitigate risks and communicate at Sales and Operations Planning
(S&OP)Provide data
analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to improve forecasts and
decision making. Adapt production plan based on unexpected eventsEstablish 3PL
requirements by modeling material movement in collaboration with Tesla
Logistics team and site leadershipMaintain and
enhance 3PL capacity and reliability by making certain there is sufficient
inventory for current and future operationsCreate and
oversee a material flow dashboard to enable quick evaluation and communication
among team members across the companySupply / Demand
Planning, Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, intermediates, and
finished products to ensure adequate stock and timely replenishmentEmploy
inventory control procedures to avert stockouts and surplus inventory while
maintaining a cost-efficient and lean supply chain. Create and implement a
utility dashboard and cost model for the site

What You’ll BringBachelor’s Degree in
Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or equivalent experienceMinimum of 5
years proven experience in supply chain logistics planning, preferably within
the chemical industry or a related manufacturing environmentStrong
knowledge of planning, modeling, logistics planning, and inventory managementExcellent
analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data visual to
drive smart decisionsEffective
communication and leadership skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
and external partnersDemonstrated
ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet tight
deadlinesFamiliarity
with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, process modeling and other
relevant logistics software is desirableMust have
command of the English language, both written and verbal
