Tesla is looking for an Electrical Construction Project Manager to work on large scale ground-up Engineering-Procurement-Construction project that requires exceptional talent. Our product portfolio is expanding with never-built-before production lines. The Electrical Project Manager will lead an internal self-perform group of electricians to construct the SEMI production facility.  The position is located in Sparks, NV.
What You’ll Do
Lead a team consisting of Project Coordinators, Buyers, Superintendents, and craft
Promote a safe and quality driven culture, both project and companywide
Conduct constructability reviews of design packages
Identify project risks and opportunities and actively manage through-out the project life cycle
Interface with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and commissioning teams
Ensure all RFI’s are incorporated into final Record drawings at project close-out
Ensure Change Control Management is adhered to for all new scope of work
What You’ll Bring
At least 10 years of experience in the electrical field and 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager.  Previous experience on $25M+ project
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
Ability to provide material take offs and estimates from construction drawings
Ability to read, interpret, and manage wiring diagrams
Proficiency in Construction baseline development, change control, cost/schedule performance and variance analysis
Excellent written and verbal communication & presentation skills
Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines and aggressive goals
