Tesla is committed to having industry-leading uptime in our deployed fleet of stationary battery storage solutions. We use data collected from our highly connected systems to find problems before the customer does and to systematically eliminate the causes of downtime. The Tesla Service Engineering Infrastructure and Analytics team is seeking a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join the team developing the software that supports Tesla’s service response to failures that occur in our fleet. You will help design and build frontends used by both internal and external parties to help visualize, triage, and respond to failures in the fleet.
What You’ll Do
Design and build frontends for internal and external parties needing insights into the energy fleet
Talk to users and implement features in our tools to meet their requirements
Work closely with backend engineers to ensure our tools are performant
Contribute to the product roadmap, working closely with the teams that use our tools to constantly improve the effectiveness of the service team
What You’ll Bring
Degree in computer science or equivalent experience
Experience building frontends in React
Experience with CICD practices
Proven cross-functional collaborative skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
An ability to prioritize and execute many tasks in parallel
Experience in Big data
Familiar with Material UI
Experience Figma
Knowledgeable in battery systems and power systems
