What to Expect
The Recycle Roll-Off Truck Driver is responsible for operating a roll-off truck to service customers by picking up and transporting recyclable materials from Tesla to designated facilities. This role requires adherence to safety protocols, efficient route management, and excellent customer service skills.
What You’ll Do
Safely operate roll-off trucks to service various customer locations
Utilize hydraulic lifting and unloading mechanisms to load and unload recyclable materials
Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely pickups and deliveries
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment
Ensure loads are secured properly to prevent accidents and spills
Maintain accurate logs of routes, pickups, and drop-offs
Handle recyclable materials in a manner that complies with environmental regulations
What You’ll Bring
Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements / Hazmat is a plus
Ability to lift and move heavy objects
Stamina to work long hours, including early mornings and late evenings
Comfortable working in various weather conditions
Understanding of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and compliance
Adherence to safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
