What to Expect
The Self-Driving Hardware team is looking for SOC RTL Designers to work in Austin, TX. SOC RTL designers are expected to understand design requirements, configure and generate interconnect logic, integrate IP blocks with the interconnect, resolve clock, reset, and timing issues, and work with verification, performance, and physical design engineers to bring it to completion.
What You’ll Do
Evaluate and understand existing internal and external IP functions and requirements
Understand requirements for and configure SOC interconnect logic
Analyze and resolve performance, power and area for the SOC interconnect
Analyze and resolve clock, reset, test, and timing constraints and issues
Create logic in RTL to solve issues as needed
Modify logic in RTL to correct bugs, performance, and timing issues
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in SOC or RTL design
Knowledge and understanding of SOC architecture and interconnect
Understanding of clock domain crossing, reset, and testability issues
Ability to debug functional and performance issues to root cause
Strong understanding of Verilog, C++, and scripting languages
Strongly motivated to pursue and solve tough engineering challenges in a dynamic environment
