What to Expect
As a Construction Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the construction of advanced factories worldwide. You will work cross-functionally, coordinating construction activities between project managers and field superintendents to ensure projects adhere to schedule, budget, and delivery deadlines.
What You’ll Do
Provide exceptional customer service to Tesla staff, vendors, and business partners
Manage procurement and budget tracking for all construction materials
Coordinate equipment logistics with vendors and field personnel
Validate that materials ordered and received are consistent with quantities installed
Maintain project documentation including trainings, equipment, and project statuses using various spreadsheets and internal applications
Assist field employees with administrative tasks
Attend meetings, take minutes, and document necessary information
What You’ll Bring
2-5 years of field engineer experience, preferably at an architectural, electrical, or mechanical subcontractor firm
Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent experience
Experience in purchasing and making budgetary decisions on construction projects
Strong ability to prioritize tasks with excellent time management skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a sense of urgency
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with Bluebeam, Aconex, PlanGrid, or MS Project is advantageous
Willingness to travel to various project locations as required (up to 50%), often on short notice
