What to Expect
The Dojo Hardware team is looking for a skilled and motivated electronics engineer to design a range of high power and high-speed boards. Our hardware is responsible for interfacing with our Dojo Tile, cabinet/rack controls, and enabling our accelerated TTP network. You will be pushing limits for data rates, power density, and component density. To solve these challenges you will work with a skilled team of mechanical, thermal, silicon, and firmware engineers.
What You’ll Do
Start-to-finish hardware ownership: Specification, architecture, design, simulation, schematic, layout supervision, manufacturing, bringup, and validation of high speed circuit boards
Collaborate with PCB layout, Firmware, Mechanical, Thermal, Program Management, and Validation Teams
What You’ll Bring
Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience in electronics design, validation with full cycle visibility from benchtop to post production
Understand and design with SoC/Chipset components and peripherals (eMMC, flash, DDR) and interfaces such as I2C, UART, and SPI
Understanding of high speed interfaces PCIe, 50/100G serdes, Ethernet (100M to 400G)
High speed design fundamentals (PCB stack up, material selection, via structures, link budgets, BERT, etc.)
Strong analytical, circuit analysis and simulation skills
Creating test automation with basic programming and scripting ability (Python)
Understanding of analog and power circuitry such as amplifiers, DC-DC convertors, ADC/DACs
Experience with Linux systems
