What to Expect
The Dojo team is looking for a hands-on, self-directed engineering technician to operate and maintain the facility systems serving the Tesla Dojo supercomputers. This position is a full time, on-site role.
What You’ll Do
Operational expert for mechanical system at the Dojo facilities. The mechanical systems and equipment can include pumps, piping, chillers, cooling towers, CRAH units, etc.

Available for occasional on-site emergency calls nights and weekends

Develop preventative maintenance plans. Drive the execution of both preventative and emergency maintenance for facility equipment

Collaborate with building facilities team to ensure reliability of building facilities systems impacting Dojo spaces

Identify and maintain spare parts inventory to minimize downtime

Coordinate and supervise scheduled system shutdowns as well as develop and implement energy monitoring metrics
Support commissioning efforts by witnessing equipment startup, assisting with functional testing, and monitoring construction progress

What You’ll Bring
5+ years of hands-on operations or facilities work experience. Data center experience is preferred

Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and systems

Strong troubleshooting skills

Experience with PLC-based control systems and/or with Building Management Systems (BMS)

Ability to command the english language, both written and verbal

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Ability to utilize hand tools and power tools as needed
