What to Expect

Tesla is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bot QA Tester to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our robotic systems through daily testing and analysis. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a diligent approach to testing and QA.  We are looking for someone with enthusiasm for the field of robotics and a strong desire to contribute to the development of Tesla Bot.  

Day Shift: 8:00AM-4:30PM on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 

Night Shift: 4:00PM-12:30AM on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

What You’ll Do

Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications 

Perform regular regression testing to ensure that previously identified defects have been resolved and that new changes/features have not introduced any unintended side effects  
Work closely with the development team to identify, track, and prioritize issues  
Maintain thorough records of test results, including test logs, screenshots, and videos  
Execute defined test cases, record & analyze test results to provide detailed reports  
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth and efficient testing process  
Clearly communicate test results, issues, and recommendations to stakeholders  
What You’ll Bring

Experience troubleshooting hardware and/or software, software experience preferred   

Proven experience in software or robotics quality assurance testing  
Terminal experience (running scripts, flashing software, etc) preferred  
Excellent problem-solving skills & strong written and verbal communication skills  
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment  
Ability to work a flexible schedule; day/night shifts with the ability to work 1 day per weekend
