What to Expect

The NPI Technical Program Manager will support Engineering prototype A and B build phases (operations support and coordination, manage validation trial requests, ramp planning); lead C and D build phases (core team leadership, program schedule, build plan, materials coordination, build execution, allocation management, issue tracking.) The TPM will also lead and mentor project engineers, helping them grow personally and professionally. TPMs will lead changes to sustaining products with minimal interruption to production flow. They will do this, while understanding their available resources and allocating them appropriately. Understanding how decisions in one area impact other departments and operational goals. They will track details and manage actions to closure. The TPM will ensure cross-functional team adherence to NPI processes and procedures. 

What You’ll Do
Manage the cross functional team to ensure NPI activities and product launches are “non-events”
Lead the build core team meetings to coordinate all aspects of prototype builds, set build plans and evaluate constraints.  Lead, guide, and mentor junior team members
Drive material readiness with supply chain and material planning teams
Provide direction to project engineers for priorities and trial requirements
Coordinate with process and quality engineers to support new product roll outs
Own product roadmaps and perform cost analyses to reduce product cost and manage inventory
Aid in the development and roll-out of robust NPI procedures and processes
Achieve OKR(s) relating to: scope, schedule, cost, yield, rate, and capacity
What You’ll Bring
Degree in Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience
Evidence of exceptional ability managing multiple complex programs/projects simultaneously
3+yrs. experience in mix of engineering and Project Management fields
Experience in Production/Manufacturing environment (semi-automated preferred)
Production Operations Knowledge – Has a firm understanding of how complex production lines operate including key items such as industrial workings between facilities/departments, line balance, OEE, error proofing, etc
Excellent verbal and written communication skills that are tailored to various audiences: executive, non-technical and technical team members
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage large teams
Works well under pressure and can manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Various other activities as assigned to support NPI and/or other production departments
