Tesla is
seeking a Sr. Global Mobility Specialist to join its in-house relocation
program. You will report to the Program Manager of Global Mobility and
Relocation within HR. As a Sr. Global Mobility Specialist, you will play a
pivotal role in supporting our global workforce and ensuring a smooth
transition for Tesla employees and candidates relocating globally. This role is
an excellent opportunity for candidates with prior accounting and tax
experience who are eager to launch their career in global mobility.
This
position would be on-site at our Austin, Texas offices.What You’ll DoLead
Case Management: Oversee and manage domestic and international permanent
relocations, as well as short-term and long-term international assignments,
ensuring seamless transitions and compliance with company policies and
international regulationsProgram
Management: Drive the development and implementation of global mobility
programs, including creating and maintaining detailed playbooks, employee
documentation, and process workflows to streamline operations and enhance
program efficiencyStakeholder
Coordination: Serve as a key liaison between employees, external vendors, and
various internal stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and
collaboration to resolve issues and address needs promptlyProject
Management and Documentation: Manage regular project work including the
creation and update of assignee documentation, compliance reviews, relocation
cost reports, and service initiations with external vendors. Continuously seek
opportunities to improve processes and documentation practices.Policy
Enforcement: Ensure adherence to company policies related to employee
relocation and mobility and provide guidance and support to employees and
stakeholders on policy interpretation and applicationIssue
Escalation: Identify and escalate policy exceptions, compliance risks, vendor
performance issues, and employee concerns to the Global Mobility Program
Manager, offering recommendations for resolution and improvementTrend
Monitoring: Stay abreast of HR and global mobility trends, regulatory changes,
and industry best practices to ensure compliance with international laws and
enhance the effectiveness of global mobility program
What You’ll Bring5+ years
of relevant experience in a multinational corporate environment, ideally in an
in-house global mobility or HR roleAbility
