This individual will apply their technical skills to setup, operate, and adjust high volume production equipment. The Engineering Process Technician is a key member of the Operations Team and helping the Process Development Engineers focused on developing innovative processes, equipment, and tooling to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy.
Must have flexibility to work any of the 4 shifts.
A: 6:00AM – 6:00PM, Sunday – Tuesday (*Wednesday)
B: 6:00AM – 6:00PM, (*Wednesday) Thursday – Saturday
C: 6:00PM – 6:00AM, Sunday – Tuesday (*Wednesday)
D: 6:00PM – 6:00AM, (*Wednesday) Thursday – Saturday
*Wednesday is Swing Day

What You’ll Do
Perform equipment setup, operation, adjustments, and minor preventative maintenance tasks to meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards for equipment in varying development stages
Identify problems and potential solutions to troubleshoot issues as they arise during regular production and engineering builds
Develop operating procedures for equipment or new processes in standard format. Collaborate with Maintenance and Engineering to develop test methods for process improvements
Conduct analytical tests, measure and record data using defined tools and software. Participate in the continuous improvement of safety, quality, output, and tool uptime
Inspect and test finished product during and after regular Production and Engineering builds
Assemble and test manufactured goods for dedicated tooling and or processes. Load and unload material, weight varying, into containers and tools
Support production leadership at times in organizing associates and manpower to perform engineering trials on equipment. Support work area safety, cleanliness, material usage and organization
What You’ll Bring
Engineering, Science, Technology related Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Experience in automated/semi-automated high volume manufacturing environment, preferred
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Lean continuous improvement activities
Strong proficiency in common workplace software (MSWord, Excel, Visio, Access, etc.) and utilizing SQL queries to access the database and pull reports
Must have command of the English language, both writtenand verbal, with the ability to work across cross functional teams
Excellent attention to detail, good organization, analytical and troubleshooting skills
Comfortable with frequent change of direction, dynamic work environment and passion to perform time-sensitive analysis under pressure
