Tesla is looking for a Construction Logistics Project Manager to support the new ground up Semi truck manufacturing facility. You will work for the Construction Management team and collaborate across functions to coordinate construction material buyouts and inventory logistics to ensure seamless delivery for buildout. What You’ll Do
Issue Requests for Quotes to source construction equipment, materials and services
Review design drawings and standards to ensure procured items are in compliance with project requirements
Conduct bid analysis and provide recommendations for bid awards
Coordinate with vendors, material handlers, Project Managers and other internal stakeholders to manage material flow while ensuring timely deliveries
Develop expertise in procured commodities to offer cost-effective solutions or alternatives
Enable efficient project reporting by supporting teams with structured data collection
What You’ll Bring
5 – 10 yrs Experience in logistics coordination, preferably in the construction industry
Experience with warehouse and inventory processes and systems
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience
Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members effectively
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
