What to Expect
Consider before submitting an application:
This position is expected to start January 2025 and continue through the entire Spring term (i.e through April/May 2025) or into Summer 2025 if available. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time (40 hours/week) and on-site, for most internships.
International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.

Megapack Sales
The Americas Energy Sales Team focuses on the development and sales of Tesla Energy products (primarily battery energy storage BESS) for front-of-the-meter for utility, independent power producers and developer customers as well as behind-the-meter commercial and industrial customers. Projects range from renewable microgrids to large scale storage deployments for capacity or grid services. The team is growing rapidly in both size and impact as grid scale storage deployments accelerate. Seeking candidates who have the ability to clearly communicate concepts and support hypothesis with data, have the ability to work across multiple teams to gain input and consensus
Sales Engineering
The Tesla Energy team is committed, and fast moving. We are a group of engineers that sit at the center of business development, Tesla technology, and the deployment of stationary storage projects on the grid. As a member of our team, you will help to shape the success of our projects in various applications worldwide. You must have a genuine passion for engineering products that will fundamentally change the world’s energy infrastructure and must want to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Seeking candidates who have demonstrated experience related to energy markets and utilities, have the ability to develop software in Python, knowledge of relational databases (SQL preferred)
