What to ExpectAs a member of the off-board charging integration team, you will be responsible for delivering high quality firmware and hardware for the superchargers, charging adapters, and various other types of charging equipment. Come join a team of knowledgeable engineers to build the next generation of robust EV charging infrastructure using cutting edge software development and hardware design tools.What You’ll Do Perform hardware and firmware validation of next generation Tesla Charging Systems Debug firmware features at the system level and work with developer on full resolution Develop test infrastructure to validate functionality (HIL, SIL, etc.) Develop and maintain automated firmware tests using Python libraries Support the team with practical, quick solutions to issues that improves the tesla charging experience Lead and own firmware validation, new features definition, firmware regression, and firmware releases Lead the test plan execution for new products with continuous feedback for new hardware revisions Debug and fix hardware and firmware issues on complex, high power/high voltage products What You’ll Bring Degree in Engineering related field, or equivalent experience 2+ years of experience in firmware and software validation Proficiency in Python and working with Linux environment Hands-on experience with electrical and software engineering components and an understanding of how they interact in a complex product Must be comfortable with hands-on lab work (including the use of scopes/logic analyzers, CAN tools, soldering irons, etc as needed to support integration) System level engineering experience with electrical and mechanical systems Exceptional analytical problem-solving skills, able to identify and surface issues within complex HW/SW systems Effective communicator and excellent attention to detail
