What to Expect

Consider before submitting an application:   

This position is expected to start around January 2025 and continue through the entire Winter term (i.e. through May 2025) or into Summer 2025 if available. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time and on-site, for most internships. 

International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.

The Chassis Controls team is looking for a Project Manager Intern to facilitate Chassis Controls proving ground testing, vehicle tracking, parts ordering, and vehicle repairs. The ideal candidate is someone collaborative and proactively undertakes challenges in a fast-paced environment. Through their efforts they will develop a comprehensive understanding of vehicles within the Chassis Controls fleet and make a significant impact on the business. 

What You’ll Do
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement proving ground testing 

Facilitate vehicle usage and tracking, as well as coordinate movement of vehicles  

Support global engineering fleet audits, analyzing utilization and monitoring vehicle configuration representation  

Coordinate retrofit programs to support new vehicle programs within Chassis Controls 

Coordinate parts needed to fulfill open vehicle ticket requests 

Coordinate scheduling of vehicle work 

What You’ll Bring

Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering or related field of study with a graduation date between 2024-2025 

Demonstrated excellence in coordination with multiple cross functional teams  

Knowledge of engineering fundamentals in mechanical, electrical or software engineering 

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills  

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment on several different projects 

Experience in parts management, logistics, supply chain or FSAE is a huge plus
