PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads a team of financial benefits, health and wellbeing and rewards operations professionals to enable the development and successful implementation of Target India benefits policies and programs conceptualized in conjunction and partnership with the local and global Pay and Benefits teams.
Responsible for defining problem statements, goal setting, performance management, escalation management and coaching/mentoring the team across the benefits and operations functions
Works closely with Target India senior leadership, HR, HQ Benefits and Wellbeing teams to build consensus and support for the India benefits and wellbeing Strategy.
Leads communication and employment brand efforts from a P&B perspective to position Target as an industry stalwart in benefits and wellbeing.
Develops the approach for administering benefits programs for Target in India in collaboration with local and global teams.
Drives vendor market intelligence across the broader benefits portfolio
Leads the internal governance of functional metrics and health dashboards
Drives the finalization of annual TII engagement calendar in partnership with site excellence and enables implementation of the events in conjunction with the TII P&B team with periodic reporting
Builds and manages relationships with local consultants, vendors and peers. Looks for innovative ways to maximize the value that Target India receives from these relationships.
Works with Leaders, HRBPs, Talent Acquisition and the P&B team to effectively communicate/amplify Target India’s Benefits philosophy, and educate team members on the value of Total Rewards in partnership with communications.
Manages and monitors benefits budgets
Owns and drives company-wide special projects aligned to team/organizational needs
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Experienced graduate in any discipline or MBA from any business school
Prior experience in people leadership with expertise in benefits portfolio management, preferably from a technology, technology-enabled, eCommerce organization or GIC
Deep expertise in budgeting, vendor assessment, data requirement gathering, project management and process design & governance
Strong network of peers in competitor organizations
Awareness of market landscape and practices specifically in the area of health and mental wellbeing
