Works in conjunction with Facilities Operations and Engineers, communicating with both teams on daily tasksElectrical Technician performs general maintenance duties, preventive maintenance, LOTO execution/administration, trouble calls, and emergency maintenance as neededWorks daily PMs on equipment such as VFD’s/switchgear/motors with voltages ranging from 120-480V and 4160-25kV as part of their job scope. Troubleshooting motors/VFD’s and complex electrical circuits are also part of the routine tasks that the Electrical Technician will perform. Strong knowledge in troubleshooting of motor controls, drives, and electronic components required Ability to interpret electrical prints, schematics, install electrical equipment and circuit modificationMust have strong interpersonal skills, along with the ability to interact with all levels of management; must have high degree of initiative, and the ability to work alone and effectively with other peopleStrong understanding of LOTO/NFPA 70E requirements
