A Claims Supervisor, Material Damage is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of a team claims professionals/specialists responsible for the management, investigation, and resolution of claims, ensuring a high-quality work product, while continuously developing talent. The Claims Supervisor promotes a culture of accountability, compliance, professionalism, integrity, and customer service excellence. They must possess strong critical thinking, conflict management, and time management skills. 
What You’ll Do
Leads and monitors work of a team of appraisers, ensuring compliance with internal repair guidelines and procedures. Manages service levels and organizes workflow to ensure efficiency and productivity
Resolves customer and/or body shop complaints and escalations as well as identifies/removes barriers and obstacles for others through their influence and collaboration, both internally and externally
Promotes a culture of open feedback, continuous improvement, and a commitment to identifying process efficiencies to drive profitability
Contributes to employee development through coaching and development of technical competencies required for an appraiser
Provide guidance to team, such as liability determination, investigation, policy interpretation, settlement negotiations and establishing reserves for claims
Additional duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring
5+ years directly related work experience
Material Damage or Property Damage experience preferred
Exceptional negotiation skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Detail oriented
Excellent time management and organizational skills with ability to prioritize work in a fast paced environment
Bachelor’s degree preferred
