What to Expect
The Business Systems Support Technician will report to the Business Systems team and support the manufacturing floor for various needs of processing data, troubleshooting various IT issues, help maintain printers, review SOPs, and implement tactical support of changes.
What You’ll Do
Able to perform repetitious detail assignments and data processing
Work with multiple departments in high pressure urgent need scenarios
Resolve issues quickly and precisely to completion and prioritize multiple tasks
Provide on call support and act as incident manager for swing and graveyard shifts when on call or working shift on site
Troubleshoot basic network, software, printing problems
Troubleshoot hardware issues and replacing hardware on both desktop and laptop PCs
What You’ll Bring
Degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
2 years’ experience supporting Windows 7 and Windows XP desktop/laptop PCs
Have a good understanding of Windows OS
Proven experience with Microsoft Excel
Show competency in learning new software and functionality for out of the box functionality in various production systems software
Excellent communication skills
The team is staffed 24/7 – the ideal candidate must be flexible to work weekends and any shift
Experience at configuring and printing using ZPL language on Zebra printers is a plus
IT experience, knowledge of SQL queries & Splunk queries is a plus
Experience working with PLC, ignition is a plus
