Tesla’s Cell Operations Team is seeking highly motivated individuals to tackle manufacturing on a challenging new process. You will be working alongside Engineers to develop an advanced new product and be among the first individuals to work on cutting edge manufacturing processes within Tesla. This fast-paced team is the perfect environment if you are interested in developing multiple skills and having an immediate impact on the future of electric vehicles. Must have flexibility to work any of the 4 shifts.
A: 5:30AM – 5:30PM, Sunday – Tuesday (*Wednesday)
B: 5:30AM – 5:30PM, (*Wednesday) Thursday – Saturday
C: 5:30PM – 5:30AM, Sunday – Tuesday (*Wednesday)
D: 5:30PM – 5:30AM, (*Wednesday) Thursday – Saturday
*Wednesday is Swing Day

What You’ll Do
Focus on work area safety, cleanliness, material usage and organization
Operate various process equipment in the development stage and sustain 24/7 operation
Conduct analytical tests, measure and record data using defined tools and software
Identify problems and potential solutions to troubleshoot issues as they arise during regular production and engineering builds
Participate in the continuous improvement of safety, quality, output, and tool uptime
Perform equipment setup, operation, adjustments, and minor preventative maintenance tasks to meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards for equipment in varying development stages
Support production leadership at times in organizing associates and manpower to perform engineering trials on equipment
What You’ll Bring
Experience in large or small scale manufacturing in a production process role
Experience with operating and troubleshooting automated/semi-automated manufacturing equipment, basic mechanical troubleshooting preferred
Demonstrate ability to analyze problems and error conditions, identify root causes, and implement viable long-term solutions, Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles is preferred, but not required
Command of the English language, both written and verbal with ability to understand and record maintenance procedures, shift pass downs, etc.
Comfortable with frequent change of direction, dynamic work environment and passion to perform time-sensitive analysis under pressure
Demonstrated ability to be a self-driven contributor with limited supervision
