What to Expect

Consider before submitting an application:   

This position is expected to start around January or February 2025 and continue through the entire Spring term (i.e. through May 2025) or into Summer 2025 if available. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time and on-site, for most internships.  

International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.

About the Team 

As a member of the Visualization Team, you will be responsible for the design and creation of pre-rendered and real-time photorealistic automotive and product imagery, animations, digital assets and environments. Your work has the potential to be seen on a global scale, helping influence people and communities to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy.    

What You’ll Do
Rendering high quality, photorealistic advertising content (Unreal Engine) 

Art direction and collaboration with leadership to create visually stunning imagery 

Creation of realistic and fictitious digital assets and virtual environments 

Optimization of CAD data and assets 

Environmental atmospheric and lighting setups  

Material/texture generation and virtual material prototyping 

What You’ll Bring
Great portfolio displaying your passion as a Digital Artist 

Artistic and technical knowledge in Unreal Engine 

Basic level knowledge in Animations/Films/Cinematography/Photography 

Basic level knowledge of PBR based workflows 

Willingness to learn new tools/techniques, think innovatively and display initiative 

Understanding of color, visual compositions and lighting 

Knowledge of traditional 2D/3D software (e.g. Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, Zbrush, Photoshop) 

Experience with character rigging/animation 

Photogrammetry knowledge 

Accustomed to going above and beyond whilst working within tight deadlines
