What to Expect The Field Reliability Engineering team’s mission is to improve customer experience of Tesla products by reducing field issues, in collaboration with large cross-section of other Engineering teams. Engineers on the team have the responsibility for one or more vehicle systems or components across all automotive products. This role is a highly hands-on individual contributor position, encompassing various duties such as data analysis, hands-on failure analysis, and driving containment actions. We are in search of a multi-faceted engineer who will assume responsibility for all aspects related to efforts aimed at enhancing the reliability and quality of our vehicles. Strong project that demonstrates problem solving skills, also accepted)A background in electronics or automotive (with an electrical engineering focus) is preferred, or an equivalent qualification Hands-on experience in debugging and testing electrical systems in the automotive or a comparable industry, including wire harnesses, components, ECUs, and/or embedded systems Broad technical background, with previous experience in problem solving and failure analysis on multiple (Proficient in PCBA level troubleshooting and debugging) Strong interpersonal and communication skills are an absolute requirement Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking Programming Languages & Tools: Python, UNIX Demonstrated success in applying statistical methods in data analysis Degree in Electrical, Mechatronic, or similar fields or equivalent experience Previous experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
