This position is entry-level position that starts in Summer 2025. 

Starting Hourly Rate $27.00 per hour.

A role in Inventory Management means applying your specialized and well-informed point of view to what we buy, from whom, how much, and where it needs to go from there. You’ll use the right combination of data and expertise to achieve the best possible product availability through proper inventory positioning. You’ll establish and develop great relationships with our vendors to encourage on-time shipment and delivery to stores and ultimately, guests.

As an Inventory Analyst Intern, you’ll gain a realistic job preview into life as an Inventory Analyst. Learn how to apply your financial, analytical and communication skills to impact the bottom line as we work to deliver products to guests anytime and anywhere. Manage a project from start to finish, and culminate your summer experience by presenting your results to leadership within your department. You’ll gain valuable insight into the day-to-day role of an Inventory Analyst, and see how they negotiate and maintain business relationships with the largest vendors in the industry. We’ll be supporting you with extensive training and robust development to help you grow as a strong Inventory Analyst Intern.

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
